Pouring It All Out For Jesus
In Luke 7, we read about a woman known for her sinful life who came to Jesus while He was dining at a Pharisee’s house. She brought an expensive jar of perfume, stood at Jesus’ feet weeping, washed His feet with her tears, wiped them with her hair, kissed His feet, and poured out the perfume.
She didn’t care if anyone thought it was wasteful. She had encountered the forgiveness of Jesus, and her only response was love and gratitude. Jesus had given her what no one else could—freedom from her sin and the hope of eternal life.
Jesus has done the same for us. So what could we possibly hold back from Him?
There is a spiritual battle taking place between the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness, and the battle is for the souls of people. Every one of us has a part to play in reaching the lost—whether that’s in Ethiopia, in your workplace, at the gym, or wherever God has placed you.
When you partner with us through prayer or financial support, you become part of the harvest. Whether you are preaching in Africa or faithfully supporting from home, we are working together to make Jesus known.
We believe millions of lives can be impacted through what God is doing at SOS Church Burayu and throughout Ethiopia and Africa. It takes God’s blessing, faithful partners, and hard work—but together, we can help fulfill the Great Commission and bring glory to God.
